The Prince's Trust
We received a start up grant from The Prince’s Trust in December 2002, to print the first issue of our magazine, avocado. A good source of funding for new business ventures, they primarily provide loans of up to £5000 to young individuals.

The Arts Council of England
A good place to go for any artist, or group of artists. We have a bid in at the moment, which will subsidise up to 2004 if we’re successful. The applications were changed in April 2003, so be sure to call for advice before submitting your plan.

The Phoenix Initiative
Coventry Council’s regeneration project and the source of funding for our first anthology, Phoenix New Writing.

Sampad
South Asian Arts charity, based in Birmingham, at the mac. They are funding our second book, Saffron Tea, including development workshops with the poets included and the book launch in January 2004.
